I am an Astronomer turned Planetarian turned Data Visualizer.
I am inspired by the profound beauty of our physical universe and try to share that beauty with others through my work. I believe that a greater understanding of our world will move us to take greater care of it.

I currently work at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center where I lead the Scientific Visualization Studio. From 2019-2020 I served as President of the International Planetarium Society. Before joining NASA I directed the Space Visualization Laboratory at the Adler Planetarium. And before that I helped develop software pipelines for the Sloan Digital Sky Survey.
